I am a Mom of two, a wife, and a photographer. I try to find happiness in the simple things in life, but I also love the big things. Sometimes I look at life through a lens, sometimes through Mom eyes, sometimes through wife eyes, and sometimes through my own opinionated eyes. My thoughts are my own, my ideas are my own, my photos are my own. Sharing these is something I've decided to do here.

The title to this post is, YUMMY!
It's hard for any family to find one food that everyone in the family will eat. It's even harder if said family has a picky eater (or two). Dinners at the our house are not always welcomed by all members of the family. There is one member in particular (we'll call her Juliana) who is extremely picky and decides that she doesn't like a food before every taking a bite. So when I find something that everyone likes, it's a home run! Enter Turkey Taco's! Everyone loves them, they are healthy, and fun. I've been making them almost once a week since the discovery of them being liked by everyone.
On the less healthy but just as fun side we have cupcakes. I love to make cupcakes and every time I make them I am trying a new recipe. I made Lemon Cheesecake cupcakes this weekend and they were just as good as they sound.
The frosting was the best part, butter, cream cheese, sugar, and lemons... yummy!

A little bit of Boston.
We've been living in Connecticut for over four years now, but there are some days that it still feels strange to be over 2 hours away from Boston. Steve and I lived in Massachusetts together for 10 years, and both our kids were babies there. We spent a lot of time in Boston before the kids were born and now we barely ever get to visit. Last weekend we were going up to Quincy for Steve's cousins babies first birthday party and decided to head into the city first for a little bit of lunch. The kids always think going on the "T" is so much fun, when you live in the sticks you don't have public transportation options. So we picked up the "T" in Quincy and headed into Boston. We went to Faneuil Hall for lunch, since they have my absolute most favorite chowder there! Then walked around for a bit and even got to see a yo-yo show by a world champion yo-yo-er (not sure if thats a real word).
After that it was off to the party in Quincy. The kids loved the "T" ride back and the party was super fun!
